Where faith, conversation and coffee come together Pastor Andy and Katie Warlick host Central Café is the place where faith, conversation and coffee come together each Sunday morning. Central Café meets in the church fellowship hall on Sunday mornings for coffee and conversation. Young, middle age and older adults who want to: Connect with others, learn more about God in our world, link faith and contemporary issues. Controversy, Conservation, and the Chronicles of Narnia When Central Café opened a year ago, its goal was to provide adults who were not members of a Sunday School class with a forum to grow in fellowship with each other and to talk about a variety of topics and issues that affect Christians today. In 2010, we seek to further that goal. We will start off on Sunday, January 10th with a two-part series on Stem Cell Research led by Dr. Todd Steck. Over the next few months we will cover a wide range of topics, including Animal Rights, Conservationism, Atheism, and Methodism. We’ll also take an extended look at C.S. Lewis and his fiction and non-fiction writings, concluding with a readers’ theatre performance of Lewis’ Shadowlands at Old Courthouse Theatre. Presenters will include Pastor Andy, Pastor Reta, Todd Steck, and Katie Warlick No reservations needed! Your place has already been reserved! |
