Women’s Bible Study-Sisters of the Spirit PDF Print E-mail
On Monday mornings from 10:30am until noon, women meet in the Church Parlor for study and fellowship.  All women are welcome to this study.  The group always includes a varied demographic from young moms to grandmothers (and all ages in between!).  The times for this study are especially convenient for young moms with children in morning preschool.  Childcare is provided in the church nursery.

Study topics are chosen by the women in the group.  Past studies have included Bad Girls of the Bible, Sisters: Knowing God and Making God the Main Thing in My Life, an eight-week overview study of the New Testament, The Purpose Drive Life and Having a Mary Heart in a Martha World.  Topics are always published in the church’s newsletter and in the announcement section of the weekly worship bulletin.  The class is very participatory as the women connect with God and with one another through sharing.

The Women’s Bible Study Group also participates in local missions including providing meals for guests of the Samaritan House (Cooperative Christian Ministry’s homeless shelter)
