Wednesday Nights at Central are family meals and programs for all
ages held during the fall and winter/spring each year. This time of
food and fellowship is one of the best ways to know our staff and
one another at Central.
We gather at 5:30 to 6:15 for a meal prepared either by our staff or
area restaurants. The cost is $5 for adults and $3 for children.
The meals include drinks and desert. No reservations are required.
From 6:30 to 7:30, we offer several adult/youth learning
options, plus nursery for our youngest members, and children's choir
for elementary-age children. This past year adults and youth
participated in "Beginnings: An Introduction to Christian Faith"
(see "Beginnings on this web page), "Faith and the Music" exploring
contemporary music and ethics, "Good $ense" budgeting
course, and a wonderful class on nutrition.
Typically, no homework is assigned between classes and you may
simply drop in on a class.
Children also participate in Central's Kid's Club for a relaxed time
of games and crafts.
Of course, some people just need down time in the middle of the
week. Our parlor is also open on Wednesday evenings for good
conversation with friends or maybe even a hand of bridge.
Call the church office to find out about the current offerings on
Wednesday nights or click here for a
