Every year members of our congregation travel to Shiprock, New Mexico.  Our congregation has had a long and evolving relationship with the UMC in Shiprock.  For a week in the summer our missionaries do many important things.  We help with home repair.  Our group has tiled floors, fixed many a roof, painted and basically done what needed doing!

What started out as a gift to the UMC in Shiprock has evolved.  For several years we planned and executed the Vacation Bible School for the church.  With the help of our leadership, this past year we were the assistants and they took the lead.

Our missionaries attend a traditional New Mexican service, do a little site seeing and learn the culture of our neighbors.
